Organised by the Singapore Cancer Society, Race Against Cancer 2025 champions the mission of Minimise Cancer, Maximise Lives. This year, we rally the community to run not just in solidarity, but in support of a future filled with hope, healing, and strength for those impacted by cancer.

Funds raised will go towards vital services such as cancer treatment subsidies, welfare assistance, rehabilitation, hospice care, screenings, research, public education, Help the Children and Youth programme and support group initiatives.

Singapore Cancer Society

Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) envisions a Singapore where we overcome cancer and live well. Established in 1964, SCS supports people through every stage of the cancer journey, from well to end of life. SCS minimises cancer and maximises lives by providing trusted information and care navigation, cancer screening and education, rehabilitation programmes, financial and welfare services, psychosocial and survivorship support, and home hospice care. Working together with healthcare, corporate, and community partners, SCS rallies the community to better support those affected by cancer. Funds supports

SCS Cancer Care Fund

A one-off financial assistance that aims to alleviate financial burdens and provide for immediate needs following a cancer diagnosis. This fund is accessible to newly diagnosed patients who meet the income requirements of the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS).

SCS Cancer Rehabilitation Centre

The first and only centre that provides specialised cancer rehabilitation programmes to help cancer survivors and their families. These interventions are designed to help them be healthy, confident, and mentally and physically engaged.

SCS Cancer Treatment Fund

The SCS Cancer Treatment Fund was set up in 2005 to provide financial assistance to needy cancer patients. It subsidises part of their cancer treatment costs so that no one is denied access to treatment and proper healthcare due to financial difficulties.

SCS Welfare Aid Fund

The SCS Welfare Aid Fund seeks to mitigate the great financial strain endured by cancer patients and their families - specifically those which may arise from unemployment, loss of income and high treatment costs.
